So Many Ways to Save a Side Table

Hi friends,

This week is all about side table makeovers. I’ve dragged home plenty of these little tables over the years, and they're among my favorite pieces to redo. They’re small enough to tackle without a huge commitment, but they can still make a big difference in a room.

Sometimes the easiest pieces are the ones that surprise you. This little table didn’t need a lot, but the update made it feel fresh again.

The Antique Table I Couldn’t Pass Up

The Side Table That Went Wild Online
This black-and-hickory table makeover has been a favorite, and I can see why. It’s a good reminder that a curbside or thrifted piece can still have plenty of life left.

A Round Table Worth Saving
Round side tables can be tricky, but this one had enough going for it that I couldn’t give up on it. The makeover gave it a much cleaner look.

A Floral Finish for a Plain Table
This side table got a softer update with a little floral detail. It’s a fun example of how decoupage can change the whole feel of a piece.

In Case You Missed It
A Hammock That Doesn’t Leave You Hanging
I’d rather be sawing than sewing, but this drop cloth hammock was worth making.
